ITRACE FREE APP ON IPAD PDFYou can also add your own words, so they can try out a wider variety of joins.Ĭursive Writing Wizard includes a pre-writing shape tracing activity for pre-schoolers, and you can also print pdf worksheets from the app so your child can practise with pencil and paper. As they get more confident, they can move onto the Words section, which helps them practise joining cursive letters in common combinations by writing joined-up words. Once they’ve formed a letter correctly, they’re rewarded with sound effects and animations, bringing that letter to life. The app has sections where your child can learn to form upper case and lower case cursive letters by tracing them with their finger or a stylus, following the directions on screen. Cursive Writing Wizard will help your child master writing cursive letters, with their lead-in and exit strokes, and then begin joining them together. Many UK schools now teach children cursive writing – a particular style of joined handwriting – right from Reception. ITRACE FREE APP ON IPAD ANDROIDIt’s one that we feel good letting our kids interact with and one that we recommend to those with children in their lives, especially as we all head into summer vacation.Cursive Writing Wizard, £4.99, Apple and Android The app offers a fantastic combination of learning and fun. They’ve enjoyed singing along with the songs, learning multiplication & science in fun ways and watching some of their favorite characters from Sesame Street, Pocoyo, and more. Kora & Logan love the Kidobi site, free app, and videos. I was impressed to learn that Kidobi was recently named the Best Streaming Video Platform in the preschool category at the iKids Awards in New York. I also love knowing that all of the videos that play are kid-friendy and educational. If older kids aren’t interested in a video they can click a button and move on to the next one. ITRACE FREE APP ON IPAD SOFTWAREAs the child watches the software adapts and refines the videos shown. It’s good to know that Kidobi uses a sophisticated algorithm to create personalized playlists. ITRACE FREE APP ON IPAD HOW TOiTrace shows you how to properly draw the letter or number, and then you repeat and follow example. iTrace uses the iPad’s touch screen to teach children the basics of writing and spelling. Videos just start playing, which is good for little ones, you don’t have to constantly run over and set it up for them which also is nice because it’s a fun way to discover videos they may not have otherwise. This app will make learning how to write letters, numbers and word both fun and interesting for your children, while sneaking in that teaching factor. I signed in with our account and figured it would give me access to playlists I set in our online account, but for some reason I could not find this option anywhere in the app. I like that the app shows a wide range of videos from the Kidobi library. On the site you can make playlists so you can pick and choose what you want your children to watch and for how long. It had me wishing there was a setting where it would stay unlocked if you set it to do so. Since Kora & Logan are older we don’t have a need for this feature, even so one of the three of us had to type in the word every time we wanted access to the controls. This is nice for parents of younger children who don’t have to worry about their little ones randomly pushing buttons. The app has easy to use controls that are only accessed when typing in an scrambled word. Here’s a video of Kora & Logan showing how the app works and sharing what they like about it. The app is free to download and through our Premium account we have been able to access and enjoy all of the videos in the Kidobi library. The app is a fun way to access all of those videos without being tied down to a desktop and while on the go. I love the site because all of the videos are prescreened by educators and child developmental specialists. I wrote a post a few weeks back reviewing Kidobi’s websiteand talked about their extensive online video library for kids. We’ve been enjoying the videos as well as the app for the iPad. They truly find it fun and it makes me very happy. We are very lucky because both of our kids love to learn. This post is sponsored by Kidobi and premium membership received. With many long, hot summer days stretched out before us, I’ve been browsing for kids websites and apps that will hold their attention, are fun, and will even teach them a thing or two. With summer vacation here I’ve been looking for ways to keep Kora & Logan entertained. ![]()
